Do extensions damage natural hair?

If the extensions are installed correctly, maintenance on time for that system and taken care of correctly at home the hair will not be damaged. I require that the natural hair gets a break before lightening after extensions have been removed because the extensions put tension on natural hair.

How often should I be getting my hair lightened?

On and average I usually recommend lightening services to be done around 3 months. It varies depending on the desired look and the integrity of the client’s hair. Each service evolves to refine the placement of the lightened pieces.
